9.3 miles

Overview
This is a great year-round trail popular with bikers, hikers, dog-walkers, and runners alike. The trail is generally flat for the entire length with limited technical terrain and great views of Millcreek Canyon and nearby peaks (Grandeur, Olympus, etc.) as well as spectacular views of the Salt Lake Valley at the turnaround point.
Need To Know
Millcreek Canyon charges a $3/vehicle access fee when you depart the canyon so be sure to bring money. They also accept credit cards for payment (Visa/Mastercard).
Description
Starting from the Burch Hollow Trailhead, head West on Pipeline Trail. The trail is well marked, but there are various trails that branch off either north or south. You'll want to stay on the main East-West trail until you reach the end at an overlook with stunning views of the Salt Lake Valley. This is a great place to take a break and take in the views before heading back to your car.

There are alternate starting points at the Rattlesnake Gulch Trailhead or the Church Fork Trailhead. In the summer months, you can also start from Elbow Fork (which is not accessible in the winter due to a winter road closure).
Flora & Fauna
Route is partially shaded by alpine trees. In the warmer months you may see snakes sunning themselves on the trail, and the occasional deer.
