Notes: From the trailhead you first follow the White Pine trail, then take a junction west over to Red Pine Canyon. Then you take yet another fork west to Maybird Gulch. Now that you’re finally in the right drainage, head south to the lakes.

Area Location: East on 9400 S (SR210) in Salt Lake County

Dogs Allowed: No
Notes: Watch for a sign that says White Pine Trailhead about half way up Little Cottonwood Canyon, just after passing Tanners Flat. It is a good size parking lot on the south side of the road, with an outhouse. This trail leads to several canyons.


Destination Elevation: 9750 Feature: Lake
Notes: It is 2 lakes nestled high in an alpine cirque. They sit below Pfeifferhorn Peak.
