Notes: The trail up from Mill Creek is well travel, by hikers, dogs and mountain bikers. This is the shortest trail to Dog Lake and Reynolds Peak.

Notes: There are actually 2 Big Water trailheads. One leaves the parking area, to the south, at the end of the Mill Creek road. The other is back down the road a tenth mile. The 2 trails meet after a half mile. There is a yurt in the parking area during winter months.

Notes: From the peak, you look down on Reynolds Flat and Mill D Fork in Big Cottonwood Canyon to the south. Looking north, you can see down Big Water Gulch to the trailhead.
