It is 32.5 miles west of Hinckley on US 6 and 50. Turn north and follow signs for Death Valley and Long Ridge reservoir. Continue straight for just over 6 miles. Do NOT turn at Notch Peak road, Marjum Pass, Swasey Spring, or Death Canyon. You will travel about 21 miles on this dirt road to the parking area. There are several routes to the top, but the easiest nontechnical one is the southeast ridge.
