Twisted Forest trail

1 mile out and back
moderate

To reach the trailhead, drive Hwy 143 east from Parowan for about 10 miles, then turn onto the scenic Summit Canyon Road. Follow it for about six miles until you reach the Twisted Forest Road, which leads to the trailhead.  The Summit Canyon Road forks several times. In each case, take the fork that stays high on the mountain.

This hike offers up close views of ancient Bristlecone Pine trees and fabulous vistas above Cedar Breaks National Monument.
